The single most valuable asset that we have as business leaders is our people–in particular, our high-potential young leaders. Over the last three decades, I’ve found that relentlessly empowering, investing in, and training these young people can be the highest ROI work that any leader can do.

On the flip side, few things are more frustrating than when you promote a high-potential leader into a new role and find that they are under-managing their team. You end up with unnecessary tension, negative attitudes, low output, and a lot of distraction from the work that needs to be done. And, if this is not handled quickly and well, you can end up losing a potential superstar.

That’s Why I Created the
People Management Course for Young Executives

This seven-session experience is customized to each leader, so we’ll identify areas for improvement in an introductory session with both the young executive(s) and their supervisor. During our sessions, we define and track these areas so we can ensure concrete progress throughout our work together.

This approach works well for a single leader, or a group of leaders, and can be adjusted for first-time executives or for someone you’re asking to take on a larger role (such as COO or CFO) in your organization.
